First opened in 1872 as
Schoolhouse.
Reopened 100 years later in
1972 as a Museum, dedicated
to the history of Metchosin and to the history of the Schoolhouse.

The School Museum has some of British
Columbia's earliest School records along with a collection of books and
artifacts illustrating early education in the province. It was
the first schoolhouse built in
British Columbia after the Province joined Canada.
The Museum Schoolhouse is open
for veiwing from April to October,
Saturdays and Sundays
from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

The Metchosin
Pioneer Implements Museum has a collection of farm tools and house hold
